June 3 was spent on Lake Naivasha in Kenya. We spent the morning on a small boat, cruising around the lake near a small island that was home to hippos, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and a huge assortment of birds. In the afternoon, we took a walking tour of the grounds surrounding our lodge with a resident naturalist. Such a beautiful place.
